This is a major release. The headline is a brand-new way to browse the garage: SHIFT—a full-screen, vertical discovery feed built for fast scrolling through modded cars, quick actions, and smoother trading.

With v3.0.0, PlayGaraj shifts gears. Here is everything that changed:

🚗 NEW: SHIFT — VERTICAL LISTING DISCOVERY

SHIFT is a TikTok-style feed for car listings. Open it from Home, swipe up, and keep discovering—no endless grid tapping required.

  1. Full-Screen Feed
    • Each listing fills the screen with a cinematic layout: blurred backdrop, large photos, and clear listing info at a glance.
    • Swipe vertically to move to the next listing. Horizontal swipes browse photos within the same car.
    • Pinch or double-tap to zoom into photos when you want a closer look—then keep scrolling when you are ready.
  2. Quick Actions on Every Page
    • Follow the seller, favorite the listing, or share it—right from the feed, without leaving SHIFT.
    • Jump into the full listing detail when you are ready to message, inspect specs, or trade.
  3. Smart Discovery Mix
    • SHIFT surfaces active listings from your selected server and keeps exploring so the feed stays fresh.
    • Your own listings are handled fairly so browsing stays useful for buyers and sellers alike.
  4. First-Time Guidance
    • A short intro and onboarding tip explain the gestures the first time you open SHIFT—then get out of the way.

🎬 KEEP SHIFTING: SHORT VIDEO CONTINUES

SHIFT is free to explore. From time to time, a short video may appear so you can keep browsing more listings.

  1. Optional Watch to Continue
    • When a continue prompt appears, watch a short video to unlock more browsing—or leave SHIFT anytime.
    • If a video cannot load, you are not stuck: browsing can continue so discovery never dead-ends.
  2. Fair Browsing
    • Progress is tracked so closing and reopening SHIFT cannot unfairly skip a pending continue step.
    • In-feed sponsored pages may appear between listings as part of keeping SHIFT free for everyone.

🏠 HOME & EVERYDAY DISCOVERY

  1. SHIFT Entry on Home
    • A dedicated SHIFT button on Home opens the feed in one tap when the feature is available for you.
    • A one-time “SHIFT is Live” intro helps you find the new experience after updating.
  2. Localized Everywhere
    • SHIFT strings—onboarding, empty states, continue prompts, and actions—are available across all supported app languages.

🗑️ ACCOUNT DELETION REQUESTS (PRIVACY)

Alongside SHIFT, we improved how you can request account removal from inside the app.

  1. In-App Deletion Request
    • From Settings, you can submit an account deletion request with a reason and optional details.
    • Requests are reviewed by our team before permanent deletion. You will see clear confirmation if a request is already pending.
    • Deletion is permanent once approved. Some conversation data may be retained where needed for safety and moderation—details remain in our Privacy Policy.

🛠️ POLISH & PLATFORM IMPROVEMENTS

  • Image Delivery Tweaks: Listing imagery in SHIFT and related surfaces loads more efficiently for full-screen browsing.
  • Stability Around Ads & Navigation: Edge cases when opening listings, chats, or returning from ads were tightened so the app feels more reliable day to day.
  • Analytics for Product Quality: We improved how we understand discovery usage so we can keep refining SHIFT—without changing how you buy and sell.
